The Kelowna Interior Design students were privileged to receive a tour of The Factory last Thursday. The Students are in their fourth week of Sustainable Design of the BCSD 400 course and were treated to informational sessions put on by Claymasters, Scandinavian Hardwood Floors, Home Theatre Concepts, Innotech Windows and Doors, V6B Design Group, Pine Lighting, Baths by Design, Valley Forge and Icon Okanagan.

Bo Snarski, owner of The Factory and Scandinavian Hardwood Floors also spoke to the group. The tour gave The

Factory the opportunity to illustrate how the business was created as interestingly enough it spawned from The Factory created by Andy Warhol in New York. This event was hosted and organized by Laura Cruse of V6B Design.

It was a great event for the Interior Design Students which left them feeling inspired and all the more knowledgeable about the industry!
